Love our team who cares for my mom.💛 A new aid came today & she was so good with mom. Shout out to Cami for being so sweet & very caring. Thank you Three oaks for all you do for us, we appreciate your hospitality towards my mom & our family ❤️ God bless this business.
My experience with 3 Oaks was okay. Most of the caregivers were excellent and did a good job. I felt like there was a communication issue early on which could have been related to what I was going through with the failing health of my wife. I do think all of the people were trying to do a good job but a couple lacked what I would call “empathetic bedside manner”. I thought Sharron Sadd did a good job in introducing us to Hospice but I didn’t comprehend from the first meeting that all of the DME was going to be replaced and nor did I understand the changes that would occur with medicines. Again, it might have been explained but I didn’t catch on and the paperwork was not helpful. I want to thank Nurse Karina for making suggestions about a Lopez Valve for my wife’s tube feeding. It simplified the process so much! Also, Karina was able to hand down a PureWick system which was unbelievably helpful and gave my wife such great comfort and eliminated UTIs and trips to the emergency room (by ambulance) for catheter changes. Also, I’d like to give special thanks to Caroline the Social Worker. She provided some reading material and a book about grief that is still helping me to this day. I found her visits and phone calls helpful. Finally, I’d like to give a most heartfelt thank you to the nurse who came the night of my wife’s passing. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she was an angel and was so professional and gave great comfort to me and my daughter when we needed it most. 3 Oaks came highly recommended and I think I agree that overall they did a good job. Thank you.
I cannot tell you how wonderful Three Oaks Hospice staff was to our family when caring for my Dad! They helped us navigate his end of life journey with dignity and compassion. They supported us with so much care every time we had to make tough decisions and offered options for consideration. I can honestly say my Dad had a happy death. Our nurse, Suzanne, became extended family and we love her dearly.
