Hospice House at Huguley
The Hospice House at Huguley is a beautifully appointed, six-bed freestanding hospice facility on the campus of Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, operated by Community Healthcare of Texas — the state's largest nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider since 1996. Rooms are warmly decorated with inviting colors, and families are encouraged to bring flowers, photographs, and personal items to make the space feel like home. Ample seating in each room ensures the people who matter most can stay close, and on-site family areas provide a quiet place to rest, reflect, or visit with loved ones. Care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance, with no cost to the patient for the hospice level of care.
What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
Community Healthcare is an organization of caring individuals that provide the best in palliative and hospice care for the patient and their family.
I do not recommend this hospice care company. While each of the nurses was nice and knowledgable, they don't actually help with care. They come a couple of times a week and you can get someone to come help with a bath (only!) once a day. We were lied to when choosing the company. They told us we could get help once a day with all needs. Someone stopping by for a 15-minute sponge bath is not helpful when a person needs full time care. I would choose a more full service company if I ever had to care for a dying person again. This company is trying to maximize profits while minimizing care.
Community Healthcare of Texas cared for my husband during his final days. The staff was so caring and attentive to not only my husband, but also to our family. Thank you to each and every one of you for what you do.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
