Ultimate Plus Hospice - Mesquite

Ultimate Plus Hospice was an incredible source of support for our family during some of the most difficult times of our lives. They walked alongside us every step of the way as we navigated our parents’ terminal illnesses with compassion, dignity, and care. My mother-in-law received services from Ultimate Plus Hospice for several years, and the caregivers, nurses, and staff who cared for her became like family to us. Their kindness and dedication went far beyond their professional responsibilities. Even months later, we still keep in touch with many of them, a testament to the genuine relationships they built and the lasting impact they made on our lives. We will always be grateful for the comfort, support, and love they provided to our family.

I find it odd that all of their reviews are exactly 5 stars. Trust me, no hospice agency is that perfect. I bet this gets deleted. My mother went through 2 nurses on palliative care because the first one did not put the correct medication into her pill organizer for 2 weeks. Fortunately, it was medication that could be stopped abruptly. The 2nd nurse they assigned to my mother had the audacity to joke with me over the phone about how he heard I would be watching him closely to make sure he did not mess up my mother's medication while i was trying to update him on my mom's condition while she was in the ER. Then, a short time later, he failed to put in my mother's anti-depressants & another neurological medication she can not stop abruptly nor go without for obvious reasons. By the time I became aware of it, it had been 2 weeks since she last had it and had become suicidal and highly confused & agitated. When I notified the nurse supervisor, she acted annoyed with me but did come out to fix the medication not once apologizing, etc. Lastly, I notified their HR department speaking to a nurse director named Brittany. She said she would open up an investigation and get back to me. She never did, not even after I followed up. I plan on going to the highest point of contact that oversees this agency to let them know about this agency's negligence. My mom is now with another agency that is much better, but still not perfect. They, at least, act more professional and try their absolute best to do what is right & ethical. Please be weary of all the positive reviews. Something isn't right.

I am so pleased with Ultimate taking such good care of my Mom Daisy.They were so caring and compassionate. I especially want to give thanks to Grace.She was good to my Mom and I am so grateful.
