I own a group home and we had a HORRIBLE experience with them. I called due to patient choice and wanting to switch, they were very rude and quite frankly very aggressive over the phone, it scared me. The aid was supposed to come 5 days a week, they came 2-3. I did not have a good experience and will never use them again.
I have a group home and This has been the worse hospice to work with. My patient’s family was promise an aide for 5 days and the aide did not come to shower him. Then the day she got to the house the patient did not get a shower because he was taking and did not try to give him one. Patient is incontinent and he sleeps different times of days for 5 to 10 minutes since he has dementia. Also the nurse never report to the house director or to anyone. When we try to get some information did not get it on time. Very rude and unprofessional I will not get any of my love one to work with them.
My family and I highly recommend New Century Hospice Fort Worth. They went above and beyond for my family, especially when we needed it the most. Beth was extremely helpful with his discharge from the hospital, especially when the hospital gave us a hard time. She was very compassionate and took the time to explain the process to my parents. My dad’s wish was to be home with his family and Beth helped make that happen. Sy’mone took wonderful care of my father and made sure he was comfortable every-time she came to take care of him. He would smile when we let him know she was on the way. McKenzie also took great care of my father and made sure he had the supplies he needed, medications were ordered and provided education on his care. We are grateful to have such an amazing team supporting our family especially during this difficult time.
