Midtown Hospice

My experience with hospice care was a great experience! Although that may sound strange, let me explain why. From the beginning of transition of my Mother-in-law from the hospital to my house, the staff there made it easier than I thought it would be. All instructions were explained from medication to what, medication’s, and what to do if something comes up. Also from visitations of care, to literature to get us through our ordeal. Whenever there was a change in her health, I never had to wait a long time to get a response from staff on the next thing to do. Not only that, the visitations were like clockwork, which always kept us up on the changes in her condition. Throughout the care of my Mother-in-law, the staff was very attentive and cared about our needs. Once my she transitioned, the nurse that was placed on staff was patient, kind and attentive to our needs. The staff that came over afterwards was very patient, loving and kind as well. One of the things I liked was after everything was over someone called to check on us to see how we were doing.

Would definitely recommend! They are so kind, caring and compassionate and they took great care of my relative!

Midtown Hospice took care of my uncle Micheal Brandt. I can’t say enough about this Hospice Team the compassion and care they provided to my uncle was above and beyond what I expected. Jennifer RN, Tyler RN, Karen Care coordinator, Jackie CNA, Chaplain Campbell and Telly MSW. They were amazing from the beginning to his death. My uncle was a hand full, very needy but nice to everyone . He asked for a lot. It was no challenge for Midtown. No matter what time or day. They were on top of things. The availability and communication was great. Jennifer RN/ Tyler RN always answered his calls ready to help. The Nurses made visits on time. The aide came everyday on time. The Office made sure that his supplies and medication were delivered on time. Karen and Jennifer would always call or go visit just to check on Micheal to make sure his needs were being met. My uncle loved dolphins, and each time they would come by. Karen would always make sure Micheal had his stuffed dolphin animal was by his side. And She would say “Micheal swim with the dolphins till I get back” My uncle would give her a great big smile. It was a small jester but it ment a lot to him. I am so grateful for a team like Midtown Hospice . Michael suffered no pain and passed with a smile on his face. He is swimming with the dolphins now. Thank you Midtown Hospice.
