There are simply not enough words to express our gratitude for the incredible care and compassion shown by the entire team at Knights of Comfort Hospice. Throughout my husband’s journey, every member of the team treated him with kindness, dignity, respect, and genuine love. Their expertise, attention to detail, and steady support brought comfort and peace during one of the most difficult times of our lives. They cared for our entire family as well, taking time to answer questions, offer encouragement, and guide us through each day with grace and compassion. We will forever be grateful that God placed this remarkable team in our lives. Knights of Comfort Hospice is a beautiful reflection of God’s grace through caring hearts and skilled hands, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking hospice care for a loved one. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on April 2 of this year. In early May she had a cancer related event that caused her to fall, sending us to the emergency room and resulted in me staying with her 24/7. I knew I had to protect her from another hospital visit - it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the care she needed. Following the event I was getting her to dr. appointments in a wheelchair and struggling to do so. She'd lost some communication ability and there were changes happening that I didn't fully understand - it was so hard. About May 10, her oncologist connected us with Knights of Comfort Hospice and it was a relief, a blessing, a source of immediate help (all in home, I never had to take my mom to another appointment). Waldo (Nurse Practitioner), Victor (Pastor), and Emily (Social Worker) all fed into a support system for my mom and me. Medications, support equipment, check-ins in the medical, spiritual, and mental areas occurred on a regular schedule. The moment my mom's condition became too overwhelming for me, we had 24/7 hospice nurse coverage. When my mom passed, she had the loveliest nurse beside her caring for her. I am grateful beyond description - I had no idea what hospice care even was before this. Waldo and the Knights of Comfort staff will remain in my prayers and those of my family forever.

Knights of Comfort prided the hospice care at home for my wife. We brought Sajida home from MD Anderson Houston on Friday evening and the Knights of Comfort team was ready with all the equipment required from her comfort to receive her. All of their team members were excellent professionals and provided us support in this difficult time. Waldo was par excellence. He was very friendly, polite and sympathetic as well as fully professional with excellent knowledge about the whole process. We would have been lost without his guidance.
