We have had a wonderful experience with this hospice team. The communication I have received from Waldo and Victor truly sets them apart. They are proactive and go above and beyond to do everything they can in all situations! Knights of Comfort are down to earth, understanding, and genuinely kind people who clearly care about their patients and families they serve. It makes a difference partnering with a team you trust, and they truly feel like partners in care. I highly recommend them.
IF you are looking for a truly Christ- centered hospice, don't look any further. That's what I did when searching for a hospice for my Mom. Because of their 5* ratings, I took the time to read their website, and it told me everything I needed to know. I stopped looking right then and called them. Everything Waldo (NP) predicted, time-wise, with Mom happened. He came over the night she was discharged from the hospital on Sunday, and also decided then that she needed continous care. This was a life-saver for my husband and me to know we didn't have to be the ones to 'watch' Mom to try to determine what was happening. Waldo came back FOUR TIMES on Monday to answer questions and address Mom's health, which was declining very fast. Every interaction Waldo had with Mom was full of kindness and compassion. He was so very sweet to her. She took to him right away. The bottom line is this: The people who work at Knights of Comfort Hospice consider this work not as a job, but as a calling from God, and it is ministry to them. And THAT comes across in every single thing they do. Don't pick a big name hospice to take care of your elderly patent when this kind of personal touch is available. Thank you, Waldo ❤️
Waldo and the entire team at Knights of Comfort have been exactly that, Knights of Comfort! Our family is in a unique situation. We’ve just lost our mother while at the same time having our sister also in their care. The team prioritizes dignity for the patient and support for their family. Their hearts are clearly in it and that has somehow eased our emotional distress. KoC have become an extension of our family and I am eternally grateful.
