Journey is an exceptional hospice, and Cecily is an extraordinary nurse. In fact, every team member who worked with us [Sara, Cecily, Lisa, and Kari] was incredibly professional and compassionate, not only to my mother but also to our entire family. I always had the impression that they were going far beyond their call of duty -- treating us not as patients or consumers, but as if we were their own family. Their standards are remarkable in every regard. I would give them seven stars if I could. This is not hyperbole. This is the plain, unvarnished truth. They did everything I was underqualified to do and, frankly, too overwhelmed to do for my beloved mother - everything from the routine details, such as getting the appropriate medications delivered to our home in a timely manner, all the way to the "heavy lifting" projects, like evaluating each situation and getting the various necessary equipment ordered and set up for us. My mother's decline was very rapid, so we only needed Journey about four months - but the nurses and care team treated my mother with loving respect, tenderness, and dignity throughout every moment of her care. Even when I found it difficult to verbally express my fears about our specific situation, Cecily understood what I was trying to ask and helped allay them. She was consistently clear in answering Mom's and my questions, and unfailingly gentle and compassionate when caring for Mom. And for me. Cecily is the very definition of a godsend, and I love her for it. I want to mention that Lisa was incredibly considerate and tender with Mom as well. Knowing that appearance was very important to her, Lisa took great care to make sure Mom was always as pretty as a picture. Lisa was a ray of sunshine in a very dark room. Cecily and Lisa will forever be in my heart for the loving send-off they afforded my mom, and our family is profoundly beholden to the amazing team at Journey Hospice.

As a fellow healthcare provider and business owner I can attest to the fact that Sara and her team at My Journey Hospice take great care of their patients. Sara is great with communication and goes above and beyond to address her clients' and family needs. She also shows consistent leadership in the community, helping to hold high standards for others that deliver care. I highly recommend Journey Hospice!

Words cannot describe what a wonderful company this is! My father was on hospice with Journey for nine months and received the most compassionate, caring, and attentive attention. Equipment and medicine was ordered and delivered promptly. Sarah and Kari were our nurses who visited dad once week, or more depending on the circumstances. Dad was having a great deal of anxiety and Sarah had their music therapist visit dad because he loved to sing. Iris would come to bathe dad three times week. She treated him as if dad were her father, with gentleness and kindness at all times. Dad was evaluated weekly and proper medicines were prescribed as needed as his health declined. I would have to say that dad's death was so peaceful and dignified due to Journey's love and care. I should add that I was a basket case during much of my dad's health decline. Sarah not only helped my dad, but she helped me by listening to my fears and easing them with her compassionate help. I highly recommend Journey Hospice for your loved ones!
