Journey Hospice Care - Tarrant County

Sara at Journey Hospice and her staff were amazing and I’m so grateful to have had them there for my aunt. My aunt was in Journey Hospice care for ever a year. Sara was consistently and continually there in my desperate moments and was always down to earth and understanding. She was also our only advocate of my aunt's care, as we didn't always know what was transpiring where she was staying. Sara is the perfect person to be in such a sensitive and caring role. I don’t know personally how she does it, but she does - and does it exceptionally. I cannot recommend Journey Hospice highly enough.

Sara, Monya, and the rest of the team at Journey Hospice provided care for my grandmother at her residence facility for several months, and I truly can’t say enough about the level of support they gave both her and our family. They helped with her daily care routines, managed her medications, and made sure the facility always had the supplies she needed. My grandmother could be a little spicy and wasn’t always the easiest person to care for, but the team at Journey Hospice handled her with so much professionalism, patience, and respect the entire time. That meant a lot to me. What stood out most was how they supported me through everything. They took the time to explain things in a way I could understand, never made me feel rushed, and always made me feel comfortable asking questions or reaching out for help. I never felt like I was bothering them when I needed to reach out. As my grandmother began to transition, their focus on comfort care was incredible. They treated her with so much dignity and compassion, and they continued to check in on me during those final days, which I really appreciated. They went above and beyond anything I expected hospice care to be. I’m so grateful for the care they provided and the peace they brought during such a difficult time.

Journey Hospice was the perfect caretaker for my mother. Ceceily was our nurse and radiated joy and comfort every time she visited, not only for mom, but for me and my family. Lisa was our aide that would come by to bathe mom; she was full of patience, love and care even when mother would be grouchy. When mother would refuse to move for me, Lisa could get her up, walk to the bathroom and get her to smile even when she was in pain. I really can't say enough for this organization and their staff. We truly loved the experience and truly are appreciative of their skills and attitudes!
