Great place! Glad I found them. Professional, great care for loved ones during end of life. They are very reliable, friendly and there when you need them. They go above and beyond to get the work done.
Great people! Wonderful service. Timely responses. All around care and compassion. I cannot recommend enough!
My recent experience with this hospice provider prompted me to leave this review. The entire approach to hospice care is centered on access to services on a 24/7 basis. I found that calling the phone number and listening to 10 to 12 rings before a service provider answered most disturbing. Following completion of paperwork and admission procedures, a nurse was called to discuss a change of status - a nurse that arrived in unprofessional attire, and without any knowledge of my loved one's conditions - offering to discuss conditions that led her to hospice in the first place! Next, I found that the provider's lack of attention to my loved one at the end of her life most cringe-worthy. The end of life signs were obvious, and yet, I was asked if I thought my loved one was dying during a phone call asking for a nurse to visit. I was encouraged to try this company because it was a "smaller" company. But, when I called to ask for services, the excuse I heard from Icon Hospice was - we are a small company and we don't have a lot of providers available. Unacceptable on every level. Finally, a medical condition arose which prompted me to call the Director of Nursing following a referral from the LVN. She did not return my call despite my voice mail message and follow up because she "overlooked" it. I do not recommend Icon Hospice.
