Global Hospice Care

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. Our family had the worst experience with Global Hospice during my father’s final days. My dad was full of cancer, unable to speak or communicate, and yet he was denied pain medication because staff said he hadn’t personally given permission. As his next of kin, I had to send multiple emails and repeatedly advocate just to get basic care addressed. No family should have to fight that hard while their loved one is dying. We were also told that since we lived far away we would be able to video call him so we could still see him. That never happened. It was simply not made available to us, despite being promised. To make an already traumatic situation worse, the chaplain we encountered was very unfriendly and said several rude and insensitive things to me while I was going through one of the most painful moments of my life. Compassion and empathy should be the standard in hospice care, and unfortunately that was not our experience at all. No patient should be left without proper pain management in their final days, and no family should be treated the way we were during such a devastating time. Because of this experience, I would not recommend Global Hospice to any family going through end-of-life care.

Our family is so grateful for the care and compassion the staff showed our grandmother. During such a difficult time, they treated her and us with kindness, patience, and dignity. They truly made a hard situation a little easier for our family. We will always appreciate everything they did.

Ms. Elizabeth was especially wonderful—she was always respectful, patient, and took the time to answer all of our questions, which meant so much to our family. The nurses were truly exceptional and showed genuine care for my grandmother every day. When my grandmother passed, the nurses hugged us and offered us a shoulder to cry on. In that moment, they felt like part of our family. We will never forget the support and comfort they gave us during such a hard time.
