They where great with my wife. Jennifer, Jen, Dave Misty, my wife Linda loved them all, she may not have always shown it, could be feisty at times. Thank you all who came to help my wife. And everyone I didn't see but spoke to on the phone. ❤️
We used Amedisys home hospice for my father and it was a wonderful experience working with them. I think a lot of families aren’t very aware of how home hospice works before they enter into it. If you are bringing your loved one home on hospice, you WILL be their main caregiver. If this is something that frightens you or something you feel will be too much of a burden, please consider a hospice facility where they will have a nurse down the hall. Home hospice is not for everyone but can be a great option for the patient who just wants to be comfortable at home. That being said, my dad was on hospice for only 3 days. Mychelle was his nurse and came out as scheduled every day to check vitals and assess him. She made sure we quickly had the medication he would need and showed great care when visiting with him. Denae, the home health aid, also took great care of my dad when he was in her care. The night he was passing, the nurse on call Claudia, came out to visit twice and stayed as long as we felt we needed her. Social worker, Jen, was also so kind and compassionate. This is a great team of people who made sure that not only my dad was taken care of and comfortable but the family as well. I cannot thank them enough for being there for him and for us during a very difficult time.
Please hear me well… I wish I could leave negative stars! If you truly love your love ones please look for a better place that will have your family in best interest. I am a concerned son that has done it all for my mother and for hospice to help her come home to make the next worse move ever please know These guys have no clue what there doing at the end of the day! Best nurses I have ever seen make note BUT the head of the snake the bosses and a selfish social worker can really destroy a good thing and my mother loved these folks that tried to cross her with the state…. Please just try someone else I left these people checking high blood pressure be careful with them period!!! I wouldn’t recommend to no one baddest experience ever 🙏🏾
