I cannot express how grateful I am to this team in caring for my aunt-in-law. My Aunt was able to pass with grace and dignity, in her home, with her family at her side. The support of the entire family went beyond expectations. Working in hospice for over13 years, I couldn't have expected a better experience for my family. There isn't one person on this team better than the next, they were all caring, compassionate, and respectful of each person's journey.

Worst experience. If I could give no stars I would! My father was extremely neglected by the staff. Nurse was supposed to come out 3 times a week. We only saw them 3 times throughout the month. When we called and needed something for my dad they wouldn't make it a priority. They wanted to get back to us 2 days later. No bedside manner whatsoever. We expressed concerns about my dad's urine in his Foley bag and nurse said they weren't there to help or cure him because he's gonna go soon. She said that to him. She even kicked his bag with her foot when she was looking at his urine. Turns out it was a bladder infection because they refused to remove the Foley even after it was bleeding. And told us to buy regular ibuprofen for the swelling and pain. They didn't supply any supplies. Supposed to make patients comfortable right? But never were concerned with my dad's pain. Thankfully we found another place that will better suit my dad's needs and are willing to help. If you want your family member to be treated with respect, dignity and not be neglected please do not bring them here. They don't care.

We had heard horror hospice stories from other friends who used other companies, but we were so grateful for Alamo Hospice. They responded super quickly and Judy our administrator was kind and efficient. The on-call nurse Bret was amazing. My father's situation deteriorated very quickly and it would have been truly horrible if not for Bret who responded to every single call I made within 3 minutes. The equipment they provided (bed, wheelchair etc..) was also of much better quality than our friends experienced. The Chaplain was also very supportive of my mother after my father's death. We feel so lucky to have been referred to Alamo Hospice by our palliative care nurse.
