What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
Ms. Bonnie was a nurse, nail tech and barber today. She treated my father my father with dignity and respect. Thank you for making my dad feel and look like a million dollars!
My mother was originally under the care of hospice associated with a hospital. As her condition began to decline, we became increasingly concerned about her medical care. The physician's lack of communication and one-size-fits-all approach resulted in what was later recognized as undiagnosed opioid toxicity, causing unnecessary suffering and distress for both my mother and our family. Frustrated by the lack of individualized care and clear communication, I made the difficult decision to transfer her to another hospice provider. Dr. May and her team handled the transfer quickly and seamlessly. Within hours, my mother was receiving appropriate medication and was resting comfortably, free from pain and agitation. That decision gave my mother the compassionate, attentive care she deserved during her final days. I share our experience in the hope that other families will ask questions, advocate for their loved ones, and know that compassionate, individualized hospice care can make all the difference during life's most difficult moments.
When choosing hospice care, I was scared of making the wrong decision, but Sacred Mission Hospice put me at ease from our first conversation. Having care led by Dr. May made a huge difference, she was expert, clear, and compassionate. The nurses and team were also kind, responsive, and treated my loves one as a person, not a diagnosis. I'm greatful for the care they provide and would recommend them to any family facing this difficult time.

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section. Listings are paid advertising, not recommendations or endorsements. Families review the information and choose professionals for themselves.
