As the only nonprofit hospice in the Texarkana region and the only freestanding inpatient care center within 75 miles, Hospice of Texarkana has been a cornerstone of compassionate end-of-life care for Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas since 1985. The state-of-the-art 12-bed Inpatient Care Center offers private rooms with a children's playroom, a chapel, and family gathering spaces. When your loved one's symptoms need intensive management that can't happen at home, the center provides expert 24/7 nursing care with the goal of stabilizing symptoms so they can return home. All care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance.

I've only been here for a few hours with my husband who is dying The stuff here is amazing they have gone above and beyond to make me comfortable it's such a peaceful place i highly recommend them to anyone who needs hospice care
Very compassionate nurses and Dr Ferguson was wonderful. We were in the Texarkana, TX facility. The facility is so nice and clean. They allowed several friends and family members to come say their goodbyes, while keeping momma comfortable. It was exactly where my mom and I needed to be in those difficult last days. I would recommend this inpatient facility to anyone in need of hospice services.
Thank you for taking such great care of my mother! My mom was here in March, she gained her wings on 3/22/25 and they took such great care of her and us as a family! They checked on us daily, and made sure we thought mom was as comfortable as possible, which she was! I'm grateful for Hospice of TXK, you all did such a wonderful job!
