What Families Are Saying
Most Recent Reviews
Jamie and the team went above and beyond to provide compassionate care for our brother and all of us. We were surrounded by love and support every step of the way. Our brother passed away peacefully and without pain. They went above and beyond our expectations and fought tirelessly for our loved one. Dr. Torres and Dr. Abraham were always willing to adjust the treatment plan to meet our brother’s needs as he progressed. We had a family tragedy while caring for our brother in hospice, and Jamie stepped up her support and guidance during this difficult time. The grief support group resource that Heart 2 Heart referred us to has been a lifesaver. This Sherman department deserves a huge raise, and we are incredibly grateful. What an amazing organization and group of incredible staff.
We recently had transition my mother from another facility and another hospice company. Heart to Heart had been recommended to us. They handled every detail with professionalism and ease. I am so thankful for the compassionate care she is now receiving. Thank you, Heart to Heart. You have made a difficult situation much easier.
Our experience with Heart 2 Heart Hospice was incredibly disappointing and added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. The DME (Durable Medical Equipment) company they work with was highly unprofessional—destroying our mailbox, arriving unannounced at midnight, and being outright rude. Despite being promised that necessary paperwork, including the DNR forms, would be mailed or delivered, the case manager was a no-show, causing me to miss a full day of work. I had to follow up personally to receive any updates, as there was no proactive communication on their end. Additionally, a technician made inappropriate comments about sexual harassment, which created confusion and discomfort in our home. This serious matter was never addressed by the company until I reached out myself. There were scheduling mishaps with the nursing staff, and medication instructions were poorly communicated, leading to further confusion and out of pocket cost. Hospice care is supposed to ease the burden on caregivers, but instead, I found myself repeatedly managing problems that should have been handled by the professionals. To make matters worse, two weeks after my father’s passing, I am still having to personally reach out to get the doctor to sign the death certificate. Because of this delay, my father remains in a freezer while the funeral home is unable to proceed with final arrangements. This has even forced me to return a Social Security payment, as the funeral home cannot complete their work without the signed documentation. The lack of communication, professionalism, and follow-through from Heart 2 Heart Hospice made an already devastating situation significantly harder. I would not recommend their services based on our experience.
