Frontier has been amazing to work with. The After Care meeting we had was amazing, and we were given a wealth of information!

I don't know what more one could ask from a hospice service. It certainly is far more than I had anticipated. My initial belief was that hospice is simply a hospital discharge code for Medicare and billing purposes indicating that one is either willingly or unwillingly electing to return home, or to a facility of some sort, either willingly or unwillingly discontinuing all life sustaining treatments and accepting their eminent death. This all may very well be the case depending upon one's perspective. But likely, this is more geared toward the hospital side of everything, what a hospital's role is in hospice. In our case, we were very fortunate to work with Katy who had also worked with my dad on the home health side prior so my dad's hospice nurse was familiar and we didn't have to become acquainted with someone new prior to my dad's passing. Katy has been a true Rockstar in everything she has done with us very knowledgeable and fantastic in providing accurate, near precision timeline of anticipation and what could be expected. Katy ensured that my dad's last hours were as comfortable as possible. Amanda, the hospice nurse who came to my house after my dad passed was equally as professional and fantastic. Amanda did all necessary paperwork, made all necessary calls including the arranging of transport to the funeral home and even did final clean up and made my dad presentable for transport and arriving family. I honestly do not know how they do it - takes very special people to do this kind of work. To my surprise, there was yet further followup from aftercare that I had not anticipated. I was expecting a call centered around grief and recovery. I'm sure many people need that support. I prefer to manage these on my own time. But the unexpected part was the guidance in ensuring that all matters for my dad are squared away correctly. This part I find to be a true Godsend. I spoke with Carol who guided me through all of this, has drawn up recommendations and a full recap with overview and made this available for easy access. So much appreciated by me. All around, Frontier gets 5 stars from me. I appreciate everything that they have done and how much simpler they made an already very difficult situation for me and my family.
