Embrace Hospice - Kerrville

Our family is deeply grateful to Embrace Hospice, especially Wendy and Francine, for the care, compassion, and support they provided during one of the most difficult periods of our lives. Before working with Embrace Hospice, we had experience with several agencies, caregivers, and hospice providers. We learned firsthand that not all organizations in this industry are created equal. The difference is not simply the services listed on a website—it is whether a company truly listens, respects the family’s wishes, and is willing to do what is necessary to provide the right care inside the home. Embrace Hospice deserves recognition for doing exactly that. They listened to our concerns, worked with our family, and were willing to send us a team that fit our needs. When challenges arose or adjustments were necessary, they did not simply give us excuses or tell us why something could not be done. They stayed involved, adapted, and found a way to make it work. They made it happen when our family needed support the most. Wendy deserves very special recognition. She went above and beyond to bring much-needed peace into our home. She listened carefully, respected our wishes, advocated for our family, and consistently looked for ways to support us. Her compassion was matched by her willingness to take action. She understood that hospice care is not only about procedures and medications—it is also about protecting a family’s peace, dignity, and ability to spend meaningful time together. Francine was truly an angel to our mother and our entire family. Our mother was able to get to know her, trust her, and feel comfortable with her. Francine provided patient, nurturing, compassionate, and dignified care throughout the process. She did not treat our mother like a task, an appointment, or a name on a chart. She treated her like a person deserving tenderness, kindness, respect, and genuine human connection. Other members of the Embrace Hospice team also stepped in and assisted when needed, and we are thankful for each of them. However, Wendy and Francine stood out in a way that deserves direct recognition from the owners and leadership of the company. As a business owner myself, I understand that companies are ultimately built by the people who represent them when ownership is not in the room. Wendy and Francine are the type of people great companies are built around. They protect the company’s reputation, create trust with families, and turn the organization’s mission into something real and meaningful inside the home. The owners and leadership of Embrace Hospice should take special note of these two women. They are not merely good employees—they are true all-stars in the hospice industry and the standard others should be measured against. Employees like Wendy and Francine should be recognized, rewarded, valued, and retained. Considering everything our family experienced with other providers, that is one of the highest compliments we could give. Thank you, Embrace Hospice, for listening to us, respecting our wishes, sending us a team that worked well with our family, and being willing to adapt until the care was right. Most of all, thank you to Wendy and Francine for caring for our mother with compassion, dignity, patience, and heart. Your presence brought peace into our home when we needed it most, and our family will never forget it.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this company. My mother was put on hospice in October of 2025. I had no idea where to go,so I went with the nursing home suggestion to go with a company named CREST. Big mistake. By December I had enough. After being referred to Embrace by a friend, I decided to make the switch. Best decision ever! Our team consists of three amazing ladies: Julie, our nurse, Francene our CNA, and Natalie our fearless social worker. This power house team has gone above and beyond for my mother and been an awesome support system for myself. The 24 hour care team on call are there when we need them. Hospice is a difficult journey. With many struggles. But I thank heaven daily for this wonderful organization- Embrace for so effortlessly guiding us through it. My mother is still fighting the good fight and I know when this chapter in our lives is over, I will always remember these ladies and the great care they gave us. God bless Embrace.

They helped my mom when she needed it the most, they cared for my daddy in his last days and I can't thank them enough. Everyone was so caring and helpful. And I know we will forever be grateful.
