We used Dallas palliative and hospice service for a short time, but we were so thankful they were by our side during this hard time. I would have been lost without them. I talked to Shannon many times and she was ALWAYS available to help! Not only did she help, but she was very compassionate and sincere. She was exactly who I needed to guide me. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident making decisions for my father. Dorcus was assigned to my father for hygiene. She is another compassionate beautiful person that I had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you Dorcus and Shannon for helping make these difficult days easier! I do recommend this hospice service.
Hi , there. I'm wanting to share a little bit about my experience with Dallas Hospice and Palliative Care. My husband, Ken, was in the hospital at least 2 months, before he finally came home to hospice. We knew long before he came home that he would have to go on hospice. The hospital was coming at me in all directions with different hospice companies to go with.. They were actually relentless And I felt really bad for people that had to make a instant decision and go with one of those companies.. I knew I had some time and wanted to pick my own. At first, I was looking into 2 different companies that friend's had referred me to... And almost signed up with one of them. I prayed and prayed about it because it just didn't feel right! I looked through countless reviews on different companies. They just didn't feel right. Then I found this company!! I looked and read through so many reviews & finally decided this was the right one I wanted to call. I'm writing this review because this is how I found them!! I almost feel like it was divine intervention!! I can't Express enough gratitude for how Dallas Hospice and Palliative Care helped me through every single little thing ,every bit of the way. There was never the slightest slip With my husband's care. They were also looking after me and our family along the way.. They really care!! They were like family!! They were very professional but loving and caring went right with that. I thank God & the Angels guidance for helping me find them. From the beginning ,signing up with Shannon, then the nurses ,Kristy, Vivian and others, the chaplain was wonderful and brought his guitar with him on visits.just in case we wanted to hear beautiful music. He came with a pure heart And his prayers added so much to my comfort as well as my husband's and our son. I asked the Social worker to help me find a place for kenneth ( cremation) because all I had called were so expensive & i was just a mess. I can't Express enough. How this company really cares about our loved ones & us! I feel like so many of us are so vulnerable at times like this and sometimes divine intervention is needed to help us along the way. I could go on and on about this company and the people that own it & so many important ones that are a part of the team. To this day each and every one of them hold a special place in my heart for all of their kindness and help. I'm so grateful to have had them when my husband made that transition... They were there every step of the way and knew what was needed before.I knew myself. I also take care of my mom who is in her late eighties. She lives with me but I will be calling this company back before too long. I know my mom will get the best care possible If I could give them a billion. stars I would. I talked to Shannon when I called & feel so very blessed!! Bless you and your loved ones. Love, Patti
We were overwhelmed with my 92- year old mom's care, with dementia and congestive heart failure. She and my dad (her husband of 74 years) were living with us. Their physician referred us to Dallas Hospice. Everyone involved was caring and professional. They completely took control and gave us some much needed rest. They handled everything through her passing with compassion. She was able to stay in our home until the end. I can never thank them enough.
