I can't speak highly enough about D-Right Hospice. From Binta to Fega to Rebecca and Precious. They have been so kind and helpful and encouraging - not only to my husband but to me as well. My mother is 86 and has dementia. It’s been very challenging finding the proper care for her. I spoke to a nurse from my doctor’s office and she told me about hospice care. At first it alarmed me because the only thing I knew about hospice was making a patient comfortable for two weeks of which was usually the timeframe for a person in hospice care to transition. Fortunately, I learned from my nurse that hospice care goes beyond what I ever knew. I believe mom is most likely in stage late 5 or beginning 6 of which 7 is the last stage. I contacted mom’s PCP and informed them I wanted hospice care. D-Right came to her aid and have been awesome. They provide a lot of things that the typical home health doesn’t. Meds come to my door. I don’t have to deal with pharmacies, or doctor appointments. D-Right Hospice provides everything I need and it’s all covered including PT and OT. This by far is the best decision I made for mom’s health needs. D-Right will continue to provide medical assistance to mom for the duration of her life, of whatever timeframe God has for her.
