When we first brought my mother home from the hospital, we started with a different hospice company. Within the first week, however, we decided to switch to Choice Hospice, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Evita Pena was incredibly helpful and compassionate, guiding us through the entire process with care and understanding. Our nurse, Marcella Segura, was truly wonderful. She treated my mom as more than just a patient and always made her feel valued and cared for. My mom also loved CNA Norma, even though she only came a few times. She never seemed rushed and always took the time to sit, talk, and make my mom feel comfortable. CNA Sally, who was newer to the company, was also very kind and compassionate with my mom. The entire Choice Hospice team helped our family through an incredibly difficult three months as my mother battled cancer. We are so grateful for the care, support, and compassion shown by everyone, including Chaplain David and social worker CiCi. Thank you to the entire Choice Hospice team for helping my mother and our family during such an important time.

I don’t leave reviews often, but Marcie deserves one. She came in to take care of one of my dearest friends, who is basically my second mom. With Parkinson’s, it’s been really hard, and I’m only able to visit a few times a week, which never feels like enough. I’ll be honest when she first walked in as a fill-in, I was like… okay, let’s see. But by the end of the visit, she had somehow gone from “new nurse” to “part of the family.” And the moment she casually gave Yolanda the nickname “Yoli,” I was honestly shocked in the best way. That’s when I knew she had already connected with her on a real level. What really stood out was when I mentioned something I didn’t fully understand she had already left, and then turned around and came right back. No rushing, no attitude, just patience and genuine care. She took her time and made sure we felt comfortable and informed. You can tell when someone is just doing a job vs. when they actually care. Marcie cares. She showed up as a stranger and left feeling like someone we trust completely. Grateful doesn’t even cover it.
