As soon as my primary doctor sent the hospice referral to hand in hand hospice they contacted me directly to let me know they received it and started to process my records for admission. The administrator herself was involved in my care and even drove on a Sunday to make sure my admission paperwork was filled out correctly and in a timely manner. less than 24hrs of the paperwork being completed the nurses, medical director, and pharmacy all worked together to get my comfort meds and oxygen within the first 24hrs. All staff where professional and assessed me from head to toe every visit to monitor changes and even change my meds if needed. This company truly worked professionally and efficient to get my pain managed and to make my quality of life better to the best of their abilities. This company provided any supplies I needed. By my choice i only had a nurse come 2-3 times a week as myself and my family was able to manage most things on our own, however everyday someone from the company would contact me or my family just to check in. I highly recommend this company not just because they are professional but they treat you as family and are by your and your families side every step of the way. P.S. their medical director and administrator go above and beyond just to make sure you feel at eases and find what works for that specific patient instead of just following a one patient fits all category. They truly understand every patient is different. I am 23 about to turn 24 years old and I'll admit it was scary at first but as soon as they walked me through their process and took the time to actually listen to my concerns and problem areas they immediately make me feel reassured that i chose the right company. Within 24hrs of admission i was headed towards a sign of pain relief and calmness knowing i was well taken care of. Much love to all the staff of this amazing company.
