I cannot put into words how grateful my family and I are for Amor Hospice Care. After a devastating experience with Harbor Hospice who dropped my mother’s care without any notice or explanation we felt lost and desperate. Even though it took us a moment to get the services started, the team at Amor never stopped checking in on us. They weren't just monitoring my mom’s condition; they were checking on us as a family to make sure we were holding up. Connie was truly an angel sent from heaven. In our most difficult moments, she and the entire staff provided a sense of calm and clarity that we desperately needed. They guided us through every step of the process and, most importantly, helped prepare us emotionally for my mother’s passing. It is rare to find a team that truly, deeply cares for both the patient and the grieving family. If I knew then what I know now, there is no doubt I would have chosen Amor Hospice Care from the very beginning. Thank you for giving my mother, Felicitas, the dignity and love she deserved in her final days. I will forever be grateful 🙏.

Amor was the first hospice care to reach out to me while my grandmother was in the palliative unit at MD Anderson. She had Stage 4 Head and Neck Cancer, and knowing her prognosis, I knew she would need more care than I could provide alone, so choosing Amor was an easy decision. On our last day at MD Anderson, we transitioned over to hospice care. By the time we arrived home, our nurse, Cathy, was already waiting for us. Although she was up to date on my grandmother's condition, she still took the time to conduct a thorough assessment, ensuring we had access to every resource (social worker, caregiver, grief counselor) and supply (medications, feeding formulas, medical equipment) we might need. Later that night, when an emergency occurred, she immediately returned to help us. I took that as a sign that choosing Amor was the right decision. So if any family is going through the same thing, I hope my review could ease your concerns and know that your loved one will be well taken care of, no matter the challenges. I own a residential care home and Amor Hopsice have been amazing. Everyone on their team are always professional, polite and punctual. They are always on top of patient needs, medications and equipment. They are very quick to respond to any issues and concerns that may arise. I would highly recommend them for your loved one.
