I truly am thankful for Altus. I wouldn't have made it through this without their support and kindness. The staff is amazing!
Five stars is not sufficient! Words cannot justify the level of gratitude my husband and I have for Altus Hospice and their professional team. I had high expectations based on the recommendation made by our PCP team. Altus surpassed their established reputation and our expectations; from the prompt first phone call to the day my father took his last breath. Everyone from the administration to the clinical team provided outstanding clinical care and constant support not only to my father but also to my husband and myself. Our journey through hospice care for my dad could not have been more positive with the genuine compassion and professional clinical care received. Thank you Aaron, Greg, Joann, Javier, Al, Joseph, Sylvia and (((Bella))) (sorry if I forgot anyone), y'all are a true blessing! Dave & Norma Sprague
Not the best hospice out there, and that is very apparent in the lack of attention to detail that was given in the care of my father while he was alive, and even after he passed. My mother received a sympathy card in the mail after my dad passed that said, “Thank you for letting us take care of your mom. She will be missed.” I understand that mistakes happen, but this was completely insensitive and unprofessional on so many levels. It would have been better to just not send anything at all. I’m sure that they sign these types of cards daily, but make sure you know who you are writing to so you can at least try to act like you care. The blatant disrespect and utter lack of sensitivity was appalling, and I am just glad that my dad is now at peace and no longer under the care of a company who clearly only saw him as just another number. Do better, Altus. This was highly disappointing.
