Be careful…… They literally forgot about my mom…. This company is disorganized and poorly run. I’m not your every day reviewer I’m giving you the facts…. They promised 2 visits a week when they started. They also promised that they would have equipment delivered right away and they didn’t. Then, after working with them for several months, all of a sudden they stopped showing up for over one week no communication no nurse visit no nothing. We had to call and ask what was going on because her wounds and things were getting worse…. my mom is on bedrest and has dementia. The nurse we did have with them was very nice and caring, but we later found out she quit due to the treatment and multiple other issues stemming from the leadership at the organization. When we did reach out to them, they were unapologetic quite frankly they were surprised…. and then someone randomly showed up afterwards. We got a phone call back and let me tell you there was no apologies made for the negligence and the broken promises. But on top of that, they came and picked up their equipment quicker than they even showed up to check on my mom. It was rapid speed to come pick up the equipment, but snails Pace to take care of the patient. Promises were made and not kept. Have you heard that saying over promise and under deliver well this company over promised and severely under delivered. Here’s the real deal we have a camera system throughout the inside and outside of our home that continually records, if there’s any doubt or any question as to whether any of this really occurred, it is all on video. I just don’t understand how you can forget about a patient that is on bedrest that needs constant care. Someone that is relying on you to do your job. It wasn’t just a day it was over a week, but the worst part is the lack of care and apology after the fact was astonishing. Remember, if you are a client of this organization, you have every right to change. If you are looking to hire this organization, I would highly reconsider. Our new hospice provider has been extremely good professional, fast and prompt delivering on all aspects of what they promised. I am still contemplating filing a complaint through the state of Texas for neglect and negligence. If you have had the same experience, please feel free to reach out as I would love to hear about yours as well. Also, I’m happy to get you in touch with the right people to potentially fell a complaint with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Cecile Erwin Young, who also serves as the Executive Commissioner.
My wife of 46 years was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer everyone at Alpha Omega was so caring and compassionate during her remaining 42 days, and made her transition to heaven peacefully with no suffering on November 21st. They went above and beyond anything I expected I would like to thank everyone of them, especially Nurse Erin, and Pastor Mike for everything they did for Debi and myself to make this as easy as possible 🙏🙏 If anyone finds themselves going through this tragic life event I highly recommend Alpha Omega Hospice you won’t be sorry
Transitioning from Hospital/Home Health to Hospice Care with Alpha Omega was an incredibly positive experience during a difficult time. The Care Coordinator, Catherine called me promptly after the doctors placed the referral and she was incredibly kind, patient and supportive all while taking the time to explain the next steps never high pressure or pushy. The Patient Care Coordinator and Community Support Team promptly met us at the hospital so that the entire family could meet and communicate needs and ask questions. Again, another excellent experience during a difficult time, everyone was patient during a difficult transition. The need for hospice care is difficult and stressful but Alpha Omega was seamless, empathetic and caring. This is our first time going through this process and we are truly pleased with Alpha Omega.
