When we made the decision to bring my mom home on hospice, we were overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. From the very beginning, AlevCare Hospice treated our family with such kindness, compassion, and respect. Every member of their team helped guide us through one of the most difficult experiences of our lives. They were always available to answer questions, provide reassurance, and make sure my mom was comfortable. We never felt alone. Our nurse, Larry, was especially compassionate. He took the time to explain what we were seeing, prepared us for the changes that were occurring, and always treated my mom with incredible dignity. His calm presence and honest guidance brought comfort not only to my mom, but to our entire family. We are also incredibly grateful to Felisha, the hospice aide, who came each day to help care for my mom. She was gentle, patient, and so kind. She treated my mom with such dignity and compassion. The care she provided gave us peace of mind and allowed us to simply be present as a family during those precious final days. Because of AlevCare, we were able to honor my mom's wish to spend her final days at home, surrounded by the people who loved her. That gift is something we will always be grateful for. My dad received excellent care from Nov, 2025 until his passing in July. 2026. Nurse Larry, Nurse Kate, aide Kassandra came each time being friendly, kind & caring. Dad looked forward to them coming and they always helped him with challenges to make him be more comfortable or understanding symptoms and progression of the cancer. We had used other hospice companies in the past & none compared to Alevcare’s consist care. If someone was going to be out they always sent someone in their place. We had a couple of experiences where we needed assistance after hours. 2 times we had nurse Chasity & she was prompt & very helpful. The 24 hr phone line was responsive and thorough in answering questions and sending a nurse timely regardless of the time of night. This is the only hospice company I will recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
