From the very beginning, they have gone far above and beyond their duties, offering not only expert medical guidance but also genuine kindness, patience, and emotional support to our entire family. Their professionalism, dedication, and willingness to help at every step have made an incredibly difficult time much more manageable for all of us. They have treated our father with dignity, respect, and compassion, always taking the time to ensure his comfort and well-being while also helping our family understand and navigate the challenges that come with his condition. Denise Fernandez with Advanced Hospice has been such an incredible source of support, comfort, and care during one of the hardest times for our family. She consistently goes above and beyond in ways that truly touch the heart. One evening, I was unable to get to the vet before closing to pick up my cat because I needed to stay with my mom and was waiting for someone to relieve me. Denise offered — without hesitation — to pick him up on her way to see my mom. That simple act of kindness meant more than I can express. She got him home safely and brought such peace to an overwhelming moment. Beyond that, Denise has been deeply compassionate, knowledgeable, calm, and incredibly attentive in caring for my mom. She took wonderful care of her, helped with things that felt overwhelming to me, checked her thoroughly, and gently explained the hospice process and what to expect in a way that brought both understanding and comfort. You can feel that Denise truly cares — not only about her patients, but also about the family members walking through these tender moments beside them. She brings warmth, grace, patience, and humanity into every interaction. Advanced Hospice is very lucky to have her, and our family will always be grateful for the love and support she has shown us. 💛 We have been so deeply touched by the care, compassion, and humanity shown by the team at Advanced Hospice during this tender season with my mom. Every single person we’ve encountered has treated her — and our family — with genuine kindness, dignity, patience, and heart. You can truly feel that they care, and that makes all the difference during such an emotional and vulnerable time. Alyssa, one of the on-call nurses, was always so kind, responsive, and helpful in making sure my mom got what she needed. Faith, our aide, was incredibly gentle and caring with my mom and brought such a soft, comforting presence into the room. Krystal spent time sitting and talking with my mom, making her feel heard, seen, and cared for as a person — not just a patient. My mom absolutely adored her. She also stepped in during the evenings when we really needed extra support, and I will never forget that kindness. Now that my mom is in San Antonio, Tanya, our new nurse, has also been wonderful — compassionate, attentive, knowledgeable, and reassuring. And a very special thank you to Nancy, the nursing director, who personally came out to check on my mom. That level of care and leadership truly says so much about this organization. This team has brought comfort, support, and moments of peace during one of the hardest experiences a family can walk through. We are endlessly grateful for the love and care they have shown my mom. 💛

The staff that care for our mother are friendly, sincere and offer kindness to the family members, as well. They make sure that our mother gets her supplies for care , including the chaplain getting her a bible that she can read.
