Hang in there— This is going to be a long one. I need to send the most heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire team at Prodigious Hospice, but that doesn't do it justice. From the very beginning when I was looking for answers on how to handle my mom’s care, Gregg called me and spent entirely too much time with me on the phone. During the almost hour-and-a-half-long conversation, Gregg listened to my concerns, my grievances, and was incredibly patient with me and my scattered thoughts. Gregg and Geoff met me and my husband at the hospital and spoke with us in detail about what our options were. Throughout the entire meeting, it was conversational and informative, and they let us know that we could take the time to do what was best for our family. So we decided to continue with hospice care, and let me tell you we couldn't have made a better choice, not only to bring her home with this type of care in mind but most importantly to continue with this specific company. At no point was I alone in this process; I always had an incredibly supportive team standing behind me. They were both patient and caregiver-centered. The "above and beyond" level of care started on day 1. Geoff was here at the drop of a hat any time we needed him on nights, weekends, holidays, anytime we needed the extra support. He even made time to come in and speak to our extended family so they fully understood the reasoning behind why we made the choice to discontinue any care that would prolong life without quality of life. When caregiver fatigue set in, he came right over, offered incredible support, and provided resources to get her to respite care to allow our family to recharge and reset. Keila, the Chaplain was incredible. We had visits that were connecting, speaking about family, faith, personal goals and wishes for this upcoming new year and everything in between simply because she knew that that was what I needed at the time. Her visits almost felt like connecting with a longtime friend and never felt rushed. She is a beautiful soul and I hope she ( and her two boys) are blessed throughout their entire lifetime because I felt blessed to have her. Isela ( I apologize if I misspelled) was great. She was also a key player in making sure her care was top-tier from day 1. I feel like she and my mom connected in a great way and my mom really looked forward to visits from her. Even when my mom became bedridden, and even more difficult to provide care, she came in with a great attitude every single day to make sure she got the care she deserved. Most importantly, Lynette. I truly cannot put into words what she meant to our family. From the very beginning, it was clear that she cared deeply not only for my mom, but for us as well. She walked beside me through the most painful moments, meeting every hard conversation with compassion, patience, and so much heart. Knowing she was always just a call away brought a sense of peace I desperately needed. She knew exactly what to offer in every moment, comforting hugs when my heart was breaking, encouraging words when I felt lost, and even laughter when I needed to breathe again. She treated my mom with such tenderness and dignity, and she supported our family as if we were her own. Because of Lynette, my mom’s final days were filled with love, grace, and comfort. We will carry her kindness with us forever. My mom’s situation was not easy, it was full of unexpected turns, and what felt like days where we were free-falling off a cliff, but no matter what my family and I never felt like we were doing it by ourselves. Now if you made it to the end of this review, I will tell you that I cannot scream their praises from the rooftops loud enough. I will recommend them to anyone who needs this level of support when losing a loved one.
Our family had the privilege of working with Prodigious Hospice during one of the most painful and frightening chapters of our lives. My mom, Mary Ann, was the kindest, most selfless, and loving person, and we were determined to make sure she was surrounded with dignity, comfort, and compassion in her final moments. Prodigious Health helped us do exactly that—and so much more. What began as a terrifying and overwhelming process became something filled with humanity, education, and gentleness. Geoff and Lynette guided us through every step with patience and grace. They helped us think about health, illness, and quality of life in a new way. It’s incredible how close you become to people who show up for your family with such genuine care. We think of the care Geoff and Lynette provided fondly and often. In such a short time, they made a profound impact on us, and we will always remember their kindness. We truly wish we had found them sooner. We will forever be grateful for the comfort they brought to my mother and the support they gave our family at a time when we needed it most. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. - Guevara, Sulaica, and Hernandez families.
My family and I are so grateful for the care and compassion shown by prodigious during my grandpa’s final journey. From the very beginning, the entire team treated him with dignity, respect, and kindness. They not only managed his comfort and needs with professionalism, but they also supported us as a family every step of the way. Their nurses, aides, and staff were patient, attentive, and always willing to answer questions no matter how small. They gave us peace of mind knowing that my grandpa was being cared for with love and expertise. It truly felt like they became part of our family during such a difficult time. Thank you to everyone at prodigious for helping my grandpa transition with grace and for giving us comfort in the midst of our grief. We will always remember the difference you made.
