Oasis Hospice - Houston

Our family cannot say enough great things about the team at Oasis Hospice. I am so grateful that I picked up their brochure and reached out to them when it was time for Mom to go on Hospice. In particular, I want to mention Mom's care team which included Lilly, Verna, and Alan. All three are very caring and made Mom feel special. She looked forward to their visits for her wound care, daily hygiene needs, and her spiritual wellness. Each of them spent the time to talk with Mom and really get to know her. All kept in touch with our family regularly. They have continued since her passing a few weeks ago, to be a huge support by reaching out just to check-in on how we are doing. We feel blessed Mom had them in her final chapter of life.

My son went into hospice we were lost at who to call, and how to go about, we called oasis (a neighbor recommended) after having a very frustrating experience with a different company, oasis were very informative and came to our house within the hour, my son was able to get hospice service the same day, equipment also the same day and nurse was here right after he signed, he passed less than two weeks later we are all very grateful to hospice services they offered made everything so much easier thru this difficult transition, thanks so much to Oasis hospice for their kindness the whole staff showed us. I am grateful for Oasis. After an extended hospital and then nursing home stay, we were finally able to bring my Grandmother home and were in need of hospice care for her comfort. As I stood in line at Walgreens for my Grandmother's medication, a woman in front of me struck up a conversation and mentioned how Oasis had been incredible for her mother. This struck me as divine intervention because the original recommendation I had recieved from elsewhere had terrible reviews and were extremely pushy and did not sit well with my family. After I returned home I looked up Oasis and saw their great reviews. Long story short, our experience was nothing short of a miracle. My Grandmother was only in Oasis care for her final 3 days. Those 3 days were peaceful and she was comfortable. I want to thank the following members of the Oasis Care Team for all of their loving support: Kayla the intake receptionist was swift in gathering all the information needed and diligent in her communication, nurses Allison, Maria and Tonya for their patience and tender care, chaplains Alan and Michelle for their comforting presence and perfect prayers, and in the end, nurse Roxie for lovingly putting together a puzzle with us as we waited for the funeral home to arrive at 6am, her kind presence made everything flow calmly. I am grateful for our family's entire experience with Oasis. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
