Do not use them!! Not all, but some of the Nurses there are all about layering medications on the elderly. (Major fall risk) In which my mother had 2 falls within 5 days due to the amount of medication they layered her with! I had warned them it was going to happen and they refused to listen!! They also buck what family members want. They get attitudes and become very unprofessional. One Nurse in particular was always very moody and unprofessional! She didn't like being questioned and did not truly care about my mother's care/situation. Basically in cahoots with the horrible ASL she was in. She would never call me, would just send texts. Never good communication! When orders were written on medications to be given at a certain time at the facility and she was told facility caregivers were giving the medication a good 3-4 hours before scheduled time, her response was, "I just write the orders and what time and how they give it isn't my problem"!! Terrible nursing protocol right there! I fired them immediately after and found another Hospice group that have been amazing.

I had hospice for my mom for almost 3 weeks. My mom was brought home from the nursing home lubbock health care, due to them not taking care of her. I started Hospice and had the upmost loving and caring ppl. My mom's regular nurse Leslie was AMAZING, the Chaplin Brandon was Amazing, everyone was just great! Mom was taken care of and I was informed of every single thing that was going on. I was contacted all the time, was helped with every need. I always thought that Hospice was a bad thing, it isn't. These folks are here to help, thru the bad, good, and ugly. I can say I wouldn't have gotten thru my mom's trials or her passing away without them! So, Thank y'all so very much.
