My parents moved down to TX from MN in Sept 2021 to live with me so I could help my mom take care of my dad who was entering the end stages of Lewy Bodies dementia. As there is no cure for dementia, we had hoped that with the warmer weather and ability to continue to actively get him out of the house, the progression of the dementia would slow. Unfortunately my dad had to be placed in hospice in January 2022 and passed in April 2022. During this time, the hospice team assigned to us was so very helpful(from the nurses to the Chaplian to the social worker to the coordinator) in guiding us thru this difficult time and to help us understand what to expect. We will forever be grateful for their compassion and knowledge.
The entire staff is so friendly, patient, and were ready to assist us at all hours. We are so thankful for the care the team provided for my mom.
