I cannot say enough good things about Holy Hospice & Palliative Care. During one of the most challenging times in our family’s life, they provided not only exceptional care but also a sense of peace and understanding that we so desperately needed. The entire team—from the nurses to the aides to the administrative staff—was kind, compassionate, and professional. They treated my wife with the utmost dignity and respect, always making sure her needs were met and that she was comfortable. They also supported us as a family, answering our questions, offering guidance, and being there whenever we needed them. What stood out most was how personal their care felt. They took the time to get to know my loved one as a person, not just as a patient, which made a world of difference. Their expertise and gentle approach eased so much of our anxiety during my difficult time. If you are seeking hospice care for someone you love, I wholeheartedly recommend Holy Hospice & Palliative Care. They truly embody compassion and professionalism, making an incredibly hard journey a little easier to bear. Thank you Brenda Hernandez for your loving care.

This review is NOT on the people we had interactions with or spoke with over the phone, this is on their protocols and how they failed. We had an experience with my mother and holy hospice, in which we were told, always call holy hospice for everything via a number they provide that is available 24/7. Only call 911 for emergency's we deem is needed. I had a urgent need when my mom started to go through serious pain, where I needed to speak with someone to help me figure out what to do. I spent over 2 hours calling their number and only getting a voicemail box. I ended up leaving a message and had to wait another 3 hours, before someone finally called me back to help with my questions. That was about 5 hours of waiting for help! Not acceptable. When my mother passed, the 24 hour nurse that was there, had to call them via that same number, and could never get anyone either. Eventually she called the overseeing nurse via her cell number to let them know and get things going. You have someone such as myself who doesn't know what to do, is taking care of his dying mom, and is reliant on your help to make her moments alive as peaceful as possible. Instead it was more stress in waiting and trying to figure out what to do, since your protocols failed. The review is based on that, the people we met were kind and did help, it wasn't something anyone we met did, they did I feel the best they could. I just feel the one time I needed help, it wasn't there, when that is what you, as a company, are paid for. For that, I wouldn't recommend this company to others. Sometimes you only get 1 chance to impress or show, as a company, what you are about and can do, and the experience I had, was not positive and made the experience of all this even harder, not being able to help my mom, during that time I was waiting. Fix that, so other families don't ever run into this issue in the future. This will also be forwarded to Medicare to make sure other's don't run into the same issue moving forward.
