Heart To Heart Hospice - West Houston

I did not know that people like this existed. These are the most compassionate people my mom and I have ever met. They treated my grandpa as if he was their own family member. We could not have asked for a better place for him to be. My grandpa loves to be clean shaven. My mom mentioned this to them, thinking nothing of it. We checked on him after they cleaned him, and he was perfectly shaven. They go over and beyond. They make you feel like you are at “home” and “at peace,” in such a sensitive and emotional situation. They showed such respect, listened, and even cried with us. I will never forget them. My grandpa went with dignity, all because of how they treated him.

The experience couldn’t have any better. The facility is welcoming, pleasant and clean. Every employee we dealt with, and even came across, was helpful, nice and compassionate. Her 3 1/2 day in hospice there was as good as it could have been. They even reminded us to care for ourselves. My mom was able to die safely and with dignity while getting professional care.

My father passed away a week ago after only a few days here. I cannot begin to tell you how kind, compassionate, professional, and supportive the staff was throughout the entire process (shout out to Ms. Rosemary & the team). We were VERY nervous about if Dad would get quality care because of all the horror stories one hears about elderly neglect at other establishments. However, I can honestly say that I would 100% recommend Heart to Heart Hospice House to ANYONE seeking hospice care for a loved one. It takes a very special person to do what they do, and I truly believe the people here are working not just for a paycheck, but because they answered "a calling" to care for families through the end of life stage.
