Harbor Hospice worked with my husband before and during the time he died. He died 10-23-25. Words cannot explain how wonderful the employees were with my husband and with me! They went above and beyond what was expected of them. These people met every need we had. Additionally; their attitudes of were kind, loving, and Christ like. We are Christians and truly appreciated them. From the first day until my husband transitioned to Heaven, I was entirely pleased with every employee of Harbor Hospice. The two we were closest to were Juda and Dee. We were working with the Jasper Facility.

My mom has been admitted to the inpatient facility several times for IV treatment. The facility is clean. Most of the staff has been caring and compassionate, while some have gone above & beyond. The inpatient doctor, Dr. Lavalais, is incredibly knowledgeable and SO compassionate. She’s amazing!! The ladies in the kitchen were so nice to bring my mom what they knew she liked for breakfast; oatmeal with LOTS of butter. Now let’s talk about her outpatient care she gets every week. 😊 My mom gets the BEST Monday-Friday care by a great CNA who we consider family. She is loving and compassionate. The nurse that she sees weekly is also a great asset to Harbor. She gets refills in a timely manner and is also compassionate. We are blessed to have them both. 😊

I would rate Harbor Hospice House with 100 stars for the exceptional care, unwavering support, and remarkable professionalism they have demonstrated to our family.. The attention provided to my father-in-law prior to his transition was nothing short of outstanding. The facility was impeccably maintained, and the staff exhibited a warm demeanor, showing kindness, politeness, and a deep sensitivity to the needs of both the patient and our family.
