We recently used GRMC hospice for my mother in law, and had Ruth as her RNCM. We are very familiar with hospice, as I am a hospice case manager myself for another company, and 6 months ago we used another agency for a family member. I was so impressed by Ruth’s professionalism, bedside manner, and overall demeanor. She was exactly what my husband’s family needed in their time of need. As much as I attempted to educate the family on end of life and what to expect, sometimes it just needs to done by done by someone else and Ruth knew that and was able to explain every single thing in great detail in ways the family was able to understand. She even came to her services, which meant so much to us. Thank you again GRMC and to Ruth for all of your amazing care!! It truly made such a difference.

Last summer my wife's mother who was living with us had a negative reaction to chemo and it exacerbated her already bad heart and lungs so she decided to be placed on hospice. We didn't know what to do so we were led to call GMRC Hospice to help with in home, end of life care. The members they sent to us were amazing from the delivery men to the chaplain ALL of them were so wonderful and supportive. My mother in law passed the last week of July. A month later my father went down hill really fast due to major heart failure and had to come live with us as he could not care for himself anymore. GMRC Hospice to the rescue again! The same wonderful people were sent out again and they were surprised that we had another parent on hospice so soon. A week later my father passed away and everyone, top to bottom were so amazing to us. We literally cannot express enough how thankful we are to them for all the help and support and friendship we received from them during this time when two parents passed, in our house, a month and a week apart. If you need GMRC Hospice services ask for Courtney, Jennifer, Emmanuel, Carmen (forgive me for not remembering all the names there was a lot happening at the time) and they will steer you the right way. Couldn't ask for a better group of professionals. May God bless you all!!!

As a small business owner in the medical profession I was very impressed with Guadalupe Regional Hospice. From the doctor to the counselors/nurses/chaplain/cna's--they were very compassionate and caring for my mother. Dr. Nolan and Kaelynn helped counsel our family and walk with us through the end of life process as we made the initial decision for hospice care. The nursing staff (Ruth, Cindy, Cat, and Sara) were wonderful people full of compassion and genuine care for their patients and families. Guadelupe Regional Hospice was a true blessing to our mother and family. Thank You!!!
