What Families Are Saying

We picked this hospice, They did Just a Great job! they took CARE for my dad so0o0 Good they were so supportive though out the last min !!!
Our family is incredibly grateful to Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to my father during the final days of his life. My dad passed away this morning, and from the moment hospice became involved through the time they compassionately pronounced his death, we felt supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. A special thank you to Audri Moore and Sheila James. Their kindness, professionalism, and gentle presence brought comfort during one of the most difficult experiences our family has ever faced. They took the time to answer our questions, explain what to expect, and care not only for my father but for our entire family with dignity and compassion. Because of Audri and Sheila, my father was able to spend his final days in peace, and our family never felt alone during this journey. We will always be grateful for the extraordinary care and humanity they showed us. Thank you for making such a heartbreaking experience a little easier to bear.
I recommend you do not use this GentivaHospice in Austin area! . We are deeply saddened and frustrated with their service and care for my husband. So disappointed, we found them very unorganized and unprofessional. Their disorganization led to slow responses and medical equipment for my husband, leaving him without critical supplies for over a week at a time. Our nurse quit and no one informed us. We had to call to see why no one came to the house. I give One star, and that is to the social worker who was present at the time of my husband’s passing. Otherwise NO stars!!

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more.
