The NICU was the best place for my premature grandson. They took such good care of him. My daughter was able to check on him through the camera, and the nurses truly did their best. Like anywhere, there may be one person who isn’t the right fit for the job, but the majority were wonderful and did an amazing job. The Christmas activities and the game room for his sister meant so much to our family. God bless you all!
My baby girl was transferred to Dell’s NICU the day after she was born, and I am so thankful we ended up there. The staff was incredible—loving, attentive, and deeply caring—showing genuine compassion and kindness to our entire family. She received excellent care, and thanks to the amazing team, we are now happily at home.
I'm disappointed usually this hospital is on top of things. Well not that night. My child was seen. My thing is simple keep the parents involved up to date. I don't know who the primary nurse is when the shift changes. When certain doctors leave and others come on board. Just have compassion. If the blood work is done then tell the parent or child sooner. Just say something. Don't leave parents in the dark. The charging station for phones don't work. I mean do you try them everyday. Just please get your stuff together. If you are a nurse and you do blood work then I ask about the blood work. Then you tell me I'm not the childs primary nurse but I took blood work.
