I had a caregiver in 2023 through Cuidado and she would call in sick for days at a time. One day my daughter was at my house and said the caregiver walked in and then walked out. I knew right away that she was coming to the house to clock in on her phone using gps, but was calling in sick...so she was getting paid for doing nothing! I immidiately reported her to Cuidado. I was told that it was a "misunderstanding," and that they would fix her hours. I asked how someone stealing money from my medically dependent son could be a misunderstanding, but was told that it was a personnell matter and they couldn't discuss it with me. I fired both the caregiver and Cuidado at that point, and immediately reported them to the State for fraud. I turned over all the proof I had to the agent assigned to the case. Then nine months later, I get a letter from the State, saying that they found that CUIDADO had committed FRAUD and that they were FINED for their actions! I say all this to tell you that this is an agency to STAY AWAY FROM! The fact that Cuidado preys upon the most vulnerable members of society makes me sick! BE WARNED! I will never stop warning people against this company! Update 1/7/26 Dear Melissa, see attached photo.
