Compassion Hospice - San Antonio

Compassion hospice has been so wonderful for both of my parents. Our nurse Ella and Yolanda Forney treated us like family. Ella we are truly so blessed to have you be with our family at the time of my mothers last days before gaining her wings.

Having a loved one enter hospice is a scary process and one I dreaded for many years. When it was suggested to get my mom enrolled my first thought was no this can’t be happening. Not only was the process smooth but it was done with such love and compassion it was truly unbelievable. The entire team took all the pain and worry away a long with all the day to day struggles of what’s next. Mom entered hospice and found new family. My mom passed away two weeks ago in the most loving arms. I never asked for a thing they couldn’t help with. I never want to lose touch with our new extended family. I could never say enough thank yous to them. We love each and every one of you. Job well done

We could not be more grateful to Compassion Hospice Texas for the kind, proactive, and highly competent care that they provided our mother. Every person who supported our family was top notch. Yes, they were highly competent and did their jobs well, but what we most appreciate is the patient centered advocacy and the supreme kindness that they demonstrated every step of the way. Compassion Hospice Texas realized that our mother was not receiving adequate care. They strongly advocated on her behalf with the unacceptable caregiver. They let us know about the dreadful situation and fully supported us as we quickly found a new home. With extensive effort, Compassion Hospice Texas had all of the required equipment delivered at the new home between the time that the new home was selected on Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening so that the move could take place early on Monday morning. It was a great relief to our family to have Compassion Hospice Texas on our side, working as a team, looking out for the welfare of our mother. We will be forever grateful.
