Wonderful, wonderful staff. From Marissa, Olivia, Frank and our families personal fave...Janie Jourdan...They were wonderful! Responded to our calls, supplies whenever we ran low, support, care and comfort to my Mom, siblings and me. He passed while saying goodbye to Janie, I called her and back she came to take control. It was hard, but we were never alone. Been two weeks already, time flies when grieving. Never hesitate to use them again, don't believe I could do it without them. Thank you for everything.. We cannot thank your team enough for the care, comfort, and compassion you showed my mom. You made her last days peaceful and dignified. Your staff filled so many needs with gracious hearts. You brought our entire family to a place of peace. From our first call to Becky Longoria we immediately had a representative at our home explaining the process to us and made us feel comfortable. The professionalism from the social workers and nurses was amazing. The days that my mom was in your care we felt supported and looked forward to the nurse visits with Vicky and Bertha. I will tell everyone about the wonderful experience that we experienced and I have recommended your services to the Scoggins family who is now in your care. Thank you for your dedication, kindness, and for treating our mom Viola Ochoa like she was a member of your own family. Sincerely Noe Ochoa Jr Katherine Ochoa The Ochoa Family

Hi, I am writing this to send our heartfelt THANKS to Samantha Velez of Bristol Hospice Rio Grand Valley. Samatha was so kind and so professional during my Mother's stay at John Knox Village in Weslaco, TX. Her diligence and knowledge during this trying time for me and my family was fantastic. She is a true treasure and went out of her way to keep us informed. She called me every day to let me know how my Mother was doing. Sometimes twice a day. Samantha is a true treasure and I hope she is recognized within Bristol Hospice for going above and beyond for her patients and their families. Thank you, Gary Lawrence

Families often have questions beyond hospice care — estate planning, elder law, funeral planning, and more. Placements are limited and selective — we review applications and only accept organizations that meet our standards for this section.
