Blue Bonnet Palliative Care

When my husband was dying, I called Blue Bonnet Palliative Care for help with his care. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Their love and caring was so special. I have used Hospice in Austin when I was caring for my Father. I’m a true believer of Hospice care. I wish that our community was large enough that they could have a home to care for the dying when they don’t have family or when the families need a little extra help.

Blue Bonnet Palliative care is dedicated team of professionals, whose services extend beyond end-of-life pain management to a personalized care approach. As a family owned and operated business, Colleen, Kaleigh and Bridgett work hard to provide this specialized care. Their excellent nursing staff gives guidance with tenderness and respect. During the bereavement process Blue Bonnet has an established follow-up system, hosting activities, and offering family support events. I recently went through a horrific experience with my niece who died late last September. She was taking care of my sister 88 in a long term facility in Clifton Tx about 4+ hours from where live. Within less than a day they arranged to pick my sister up and bring her down to Wimberly. I was taken back by the kindness and efficiency of their operation. Once in the facility I was getting multiple daily updates. In 2025 you rarely find people like this. They are caring and efficient and went above and beyond my expectations. I had a prior experience with a hospice in 2017. It was not pretty. Bluebonnet and their employees were the antithesis of my prior experience. They continue to help me to this day to walk through the grieving process. ALL their folks were extremely kind to my sister and also to me! I recommend them highly!
