Beacon House is a brand-new, 18-bed freestanding inpatient hospice facility that opened in spring 2024 in Northwest Austin, operated by Beacon Hospice — part of the Harbor Healthcare System. Located off RM 620, Beacon House is convenient for families in Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, Georgetown, and the broader Northwest Austin corridor. Private rooms, unrestricted 24-hour family visitation, a family gathering area, and a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and bereavement specialists provide the specialized, around-the-clock care patients need when symptoms can no longer be managed at home. All care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance.

Beacon Hospice was truly a blessing to our family. We only wish we had known about them sooner. The staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and accommodating throughout this difficult transition. They took excellent care of our mother, and we know her final days were made more comfortable because of their dedication and support.
