Aspen Hospice and Palliative Care - San Marcos

Aspen Hospice and Palliative Care has been a huge help with caring for my mom, who has Alzheimer’s and is bedridden. Since starting with them, I've had a number of different people come out to our house to help with my mother. Kelly comes 3 times a week to help give my mom showers and bed baths, and she has been wonderful. She is kind, gentle, and very patient with my mom, even on days when my mom can be mean or difficult. You can tell Kelly really cares about the people she helps, and she always treats my mom with compassion. She has made keeping my mom clean, comfortable, and happy so much easier, and she has made my day-to-day life a lot less stressful. I’m very thankful for everything she does. Bob is my mom’s primary nurse and has helped a lot with making sure my mom is not in pain. He also gives me advice on how to take better care of her, which has been very helpful. Jim, the chaplain, speaks with my mom and helps give her spiritual strength during this difficult time. Melissa has also done a great job making sure I have what I need and helping me not feel overwhelmed. Overall, everyone has been kind, patient, and helpful, and I really appreciate the support they have given both me and my mom.

Aspen Hospice provided exceptional care and support for our family during one of the most difficult times in our lives. The nurses and staff were not only professional and knowledgeable, but they also went above and beyond emotionally for our family. They made sure we understood every step of the process and were always available when we had questions or needed support. You can tell the people at Aspen Hospice genuinely care about what they do. Their kindness, patience, and comfort made an incredibly hard experience much more manageable. We are deeply grateful for the care they provided and would highly recommend Aspen Hospice to anyone needing hospice services.

My family is so grateful for Aspen Hospice and Palliative Care. They are the best provider my mother could have ever had. They have the best staff ever. The RNs and CNAs were a blessing to my mother. They were kind, compassion, helpful, loving and kind. My mother had her favorite CNA Beatrice Valadez. She was very kind, understanding, compassion, caring, gentle, helpful and loving towards my mother. They were all like family. They all made our lives so much easier. They guided us through every step from the very beginning until my mother took her last breath. We couldn't have made it without Aspen Hospice and the their staff.
