Aspen Hospice and Palliative Care - Bastrop

Aspen was such a blessing to our family while my pawpaw, Buster, was in their care. Though it was only a brief couple of months, the care he was given by anyone who saw him was just amazing and so heartfelt. Rayna, Jennifer, Courtney, Kim, Chely, Selena, Victoria and a couple others were so kind to him. They always made contact with me letting me know how their visit with him went if I wasn't able to be there. When it was pawpaw's last days, Jennifer & Courtney were such a comfort to me. They really helped me understand what was happening and what we could do to keep him comfortable. Anything he needed, from medication, personal supplies to equipment was ordered asap and delivered so quickly. It was the hardest experience I've ever had to go through, but I felt very informed and that helped me be more at ease. I never felt as though any questions I had were a burden or that I was taking too long. I hope to one day become a volunteer with Aspen. They made that big of an impact on me. Please, if your loved one is ready, don't hesitate. They were nothing but an amazing resource! I will recommend Aspen to everyone I know. Thank you so much for everything!! 🩷

Mom died faster than anticipated, Dad was instantly a Windower aftrr 70 yrs of marriage. Dad was/is a Hospice Patient with Aspen Hospice. We had to get Dad moved while making funeral arrangements and Aspen has been extremely caring and promptly getting all dad’s needs met. Their staff is laid back, Dad never feels rushed and their staff goes with dad’s daily mood. He feels like he is heard and they respond to him directly so he feels he has independent say in his care. The staff keeps me updated just about his daily highs and lows and that helps me ❤️. I could not be handling all this on my own. The team also helps with activities at the different facilities and he enjoys seeing then in a different roles. He definitely considers the staff as close friends. I love he is so well cared for, and when he is well care for, I get a break 💜. I am Team Aspen Hospice all the way!!! Thank ypu all and bless your schedules

Our family is incredibly grateful for the care Aspen Hospice has provided for my mom. They have been compassionate, supportive, and professional every step of the way. Our nurse Rayna has been wonderful. She is caring, patient, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure my mom is comfortable and our family feels supported.
