It is with profound regret I write about our experience with Arcy Hospice. The communication between family and nurses, admin, and social workers was fractured and ineffective. The lack of dignity they provided was entirely inexcusable. We trusted them and were completely betrayed by their lack of integrity and basic human decency. Our loved one passed away 2 weeks after they discharged our loved one from hospice care. Fortunately, a more respected hospice stepped in at the last minute. Your loved one deserves better than Arcy can provide.
What can I say, Arcy Hospice has been a Godsend! From the first moment I called Sherice, I knew this organization was here to help us. The kindness and compassion from beginning to end was apparent in every touch and conversation. Our gratitude to the nurses we worked with - Sherice, Mandy, and Kristie (sp); each was always there for us and each took at least one late night call from us, and Sherice's choices of continuous care nurses (Lineta and Selena) fit us perfectly. The support staff beginning with Ragan in the office to Shondra, our social worker to Donna, our bereavement professional who offered her expertise to help with final arrangements. This group of professionals is filled with love for each patient and knowing I can turn to them over the next year somehow makes this part of life a bit easier.
