I had such high hopes for Angel Hospice after being through the absolute worst company prior to them. 1. The social worker was horrible. My aunt was being bathed in the bed and after I told him to NOT go in, he went in and terrified my aunt on hospice. He did not even ask if she was appropriate for him to see. 2. The nurse although better than the previous company, told me to text/call if I needed anything. Well, I text and I called on weekends mainly and I was never responded to except once when I asked about bed sores. I have text messages to prove this. 3. The nurse named Fortune who came to see her the day before she passed was being rough with her hand and when she yelled in pain, he told me “she’s not in pain, she is just scared” 4. The bather was exceptional and did her job. If you’re looking for a company who is on top of it, Angel Hospice is not the one and i don’t know which one is. The days following her passing, no one reached out to me. The nurse she had built a relationship didn’t reach out to offer condolences. The case manager didn’t reach out either, the bather didn’t reach out, the office sent a plant and a card but no personal text or calls. I was told hospice would be in touch when she passed and I was left in the dark. I had to text them to ask what to do with her meds because I wasn’t being kept in the loop.

Terrible company. Treating my MIL like she's a pain in their ads. Their nurses don't read records, don't provide necessary paperwork for patients, and certainly don't return calls for help. Stay far away. Zero stars if it was an option.

Absolutely THE most caring nurses I've ever met. Immediately became a part of our family. Michelle and Wendy, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for the wonderful care, availability, and for always checking in on my mom while my Dad ended his journey here. Always able to answer questions and never in a rush, just wanted to make sure my Dad was comfortable and we were all doing well. I will recommend this agency to anyone! They honestly took care of so much during a difficult time and just made the process so much easier. Angel Hospice was rightfully named.
