What Families Are Saying

Looking back on my mother’s transition in May 2025, I remain endlessly grateful for Anchor of Hope. Their whole team went above and beyond to set clear expectations, guide our family, and give us total peace of mind during her final days. I’d like to especially recognize MJ and Haley, as they will always hold a special place in my heart. The moment I first spoke with MJ, a wave of relief washed over me; I instantly knew we were in good hands. She was like an angel arriving at the exact right time, and that single conversation changed everything, making Anchor of Hope the obvious choice for our family. Right after our call, MJ rearranged her entire day to visit us in person. In what felt like a heavy and overwhelming time, her presence lifted the weight off our shoulders and brought a profound sense of comfort. She felt like family. We laughed, we cried, and we shared a connection that my mom valued deeply, and that I will hold in my heart forever. Once care began, Haley stepped in not just as my mom’s nurse, but as a true lifeline for our family. She brought a gentle warmth and steady presence that softened even the hardest days. Her thoughtfulness and open communication turned fear of the unknown into quiet confidence, ensuring I felt emotionally and practically prepared for everything ahead. MJ, Haley, and the entire team provided my mother with the beautiful, dignified care she truly deserved. I highly recommend Anchor of Hope to anyone seeking compassionate end-of-life care.
Anchor of Hope was truly a blessing to my father and my family with the care that was given. Very professional in all areas of helping our family put together a group that fulfilled all duties in the needs that he had. I recommend them for any person that needs hospice care for their family member.
Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about Anchor of Hope Hospice. During one of the most difficult seasons of our lives, they provided exceptional care, compassion, guidance, and support, not only for my father-in-law, but for our entire family. His nurse, Sarah, was truly a gift from God. She had a special way of connecting with him and was able to encourage him to do important things for his health that he would often refuse when family members asked. Because memory loss was an issue, she patiently and kindly explained his condition and care needs over and over again, never showing frustration and always treating him with dignity and respect. He absolutely loved her. Even with hearing aids, he struggled significantly with hearing, yet Sarah and the entire team worked with him beautifully, ensuring he felt heard, understood, and cared for. Gabby, who checked on him daily, was a sweet and precious light in his life. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and genuine concern for his well-being brought comfort and joy to his days. She consistently cared for his needs with patience and compassion. We also had the opportunity to meet the supervisor and two on-call nurses, and every single person we encountered was exceptional. No question was ever too small. They always took the time to answer our concerns thoroughly, and we never felt rushed. Sarah was especially responsive through calls and texts, providing reassurance and guidance whenever we needed it. The chaplain and social worker, Stephanie, also went above and beyond. They visited him often in the last 3 months and provided invaluable support as we approached the end of his life. They helped our family know what to expect, what decisions needed to be made, and even encouraged important conversations so that nothing important was left unsaid. Their presence brought tremendous peace and comfort during a heartbreaking time. For anyone trying to choose a hospice provider, I would encourage you to look beyond medical care alone. Anchor of Hope Hospice excels at both the clinical and emotional aspects of end-of-life care. They communicate well, respond quickly, treat patients with dignity, support families completely, and truly care about the people they serve. We will always be grateful for the love, kindness, professionalism, and God-given gifts this team shared with our family. They made an incredibly difficult journey much more bearable, and we wholeheartedly recommend Anchor of Hope Hospice.
